Weird question

I just got my atrius frs got a good deal on a non ambi version. Just wondering if I could drill and tap right side of the cam. to screw a selector lever on it and make it ambi?

I'm ordering an ar receiver set they come raw and tumbled. Do i still need to sandblast them before application. Or does tumbling count as sandblasting? I'm new to cerakote this will be my first time cerakoting.
