I’m in northern Vermont and trying to find a mechanic who can actually diagnose and fix a complex electrical issue on a 2021 Subaru Forester.
This has already been through a dealership and I’m not looking for more parts-swapping or guesswork.
Current situation:
- Multiple warning lights (power steering, hill assist, etc.)
- Intermittent no-start issues
- Several wiring harness repairs already done
- Possible water intrusion/corrosion under carpet area
- Dealership hasn’t been able to fully resolve it
What I need:
- Someone in Vermont (or nearby NH/NY)
- Strong with electrical diagnostics (tracing wiring, finding shorts, not just scanning codes)
- Willing to actually track down the root cause
At this point I’m willing to travel a bit and pay for proper diagnostic time—I just need someone who knows what they’re doing with automotive electrical systems.
If you are that person or know someone who is, please comment or DM.
