Anyone had issues with new A2L Compliant refrigeration equipment coming wired all fucky?
On startup for a new system, place is still being built so not under the gun yet.
sparkies landed field power to L1/L2 Terminal block thats part of the dissipation system (RDS) but this leaves the fans and intelligen board with no power, looking at the schematic and the way its actually wired up it looks like they were trying to control the evap fans with the RDS relay and the main board at the same time. i didnt have much wherewithal left in me at end of day to dig into it but im assuming i should just run two 14awg wires from L1/L2 to T1/T3 through the main coil raceway no? Going to fuck with it properly tomorrow.
This thread is mainly just to bitch about how much i hate that A2Ls are in refrig now. place your bets now how many of these units will get converted after inspection or have the dissipation system bypassed in a few years.
