This my first time to ever travel outside my country, Egypt. I've been so eager to travel to China since I've studied it at university and I'm working now as a Mandarin interpreter. I'm planning to go on September, is that a good time to visit?
I want to go there for 2 weeks, which cities are the most beautiful and full of life there to visit?
What are some important things that I must know before going? I know things like wechat pay, alipay and having the e-sim.
Also, regarding the accommodation i want it to be both safe and authentic. Would you advise staying in hostels or airbnbs?
I want to have unforgettable memories there!! please tell me all your suggestions to make the best out of it! I've been dreaming about this trip for so much time.
Also, as a solo female traveler, what are the clothing customs in China? As it's also my first time ever travelling solo, i wanna ask you will I have fun? Are people there friendly and easy to get to know? Or should i make some friends online before going?
Is it better to book everything on my own, or will it be better to go with a travel company?
