Hey Everyone,

I have a SeeStar S50 and I’ve been working on a project that images the heart nebula and I also have a 2 inch filter holder and I’ve been using the SV220 filter but it seems to be having struggles especially with lower exposure times and lower aperture. I’m basically wondering if in your guys experiences external filter holders are useful or if I should just stick to the built in filters for the SeeStar.

Anyone help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

M109 & Friends

Here is an image I took of M109 aka the Vacuum Cleaner Galaxy and its surrounding galaxies. The surrounding galaxies are faint but we can see UGC 6923, 6940, and 6969. I used my SeeStar S50 in EQ mode for this image and is composed of 4 hours of 20 second and 30 second exposures and all processing was done in Siril.
