I’m guessing performance reviews are coming up in next month or so. Been at my company for about a year, which is my first time in corp world having only worked in small businesses.

The general consensus I’ve read here is that it’s already too late come performance reviews for any real pay bumps. I intend on scoring myself 4s and 5s, I think I’m in a league above my peers.

Is now the time to ask? Do I ask to do my review early?

Or are promotions the only real way to move the needle?
