Dont mind the cut, battle scar ig? Now, what are these black lines on my nails?

So I got a new job at a restaurant (all around work, as they say). I sometimes enter the pit too.

I was promised during the interview to not worry about the dishwashing shift because it will only be once per week (I was not worried at all).

It went that way for a few weeks and last week I did the pit twice, and this week the same thing happened.

I dont mind the cuts I get because I somewhat treat them as trophies per shift lol but my nails are the one that bothered me.

For context, we dont have the thing you use to spray the plates with. We have a three-pocket sink. The deep stainless steel trays (idk why we call em pots and pans) go in the first sink pocket, then the plates in the next one, and the sanitizing/rinsing in the final pocket.

We use all purpose detergent, the powder kind, and we put Ecolab Eco-san/Eco-san-63 in all of the sink pockets. After removing huge debris, washing, and rinsing, we put the dishes in racks and slide them inside the machine.

Last few pics, my hands get dry so bad and the skin "peels" off after I get home.

I also want tips on how can I get faster! I am loving the pit shifts but I get stressed a lot of dishes come to my area.
