I've been using ChatGPT since it started. In the beginning, I mainly used it to come up with lists, ideas, rewrites, learn about new topics, etc. Then started using instructions and prompting more complex tasks. It was all simple stuff still.

I've started using ChatGPT rigorously this year as I moved into a management position (I work in IT Support). So, now I'm having it help me write structured KB's, workflows, SOPs, and even build spreadsheets for performance tracking. One of my chats, I designate it as my mentor/guide for building data reports in Zendesk Explore to create new KPIs. It will walk me through step-by-step how to build those reports.

But, I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of what I could be getting out of it. Other coworkers talk about 'all this stuff I got ChatGPT doing for me' but no one ever goes into details or shares their use cases. Online is flooded with Chatgpt advice that it's difficult to find anything good. I struggle to come up with more complex use cases because I lack creativity... The "What could I do?" "What do I want/need?" I tend to draw from inspiration instead.

I'm hoping this post can help nudge me in the right direction or at least change my perspective/mindset/approach towards ChatGPT and general AI.
