Thai Bodywork
I'm a certified Thai bodywork practitioner, locally-based, and looking to take on new clients.
Thai bodywork is different from massage therapy in most forms, specifically in that it focuses on stretching and steady compression to create openness in the body, rather than manipulation of the muscles and fascia. It is also notably a clothed practice that takes place on a floor mat, and uses no oils or creams, compared to a typical table massage.
Many people report improved mobility and reduction of pain and stiffness, along with a sense of regulation within their nervous system.
Most sessions take a minimum of 90 minutes. I can travel, but I do not currently host.
