Recommendations for anime to watch on Mother's Day
I thought about watching some anime with my mom on Mother's Day so we could spend some time together, but she said it'd be a busy day (I don't exactly know her schedule or anything, I only know I don't have anything else to do then since it's the weekend lol), so I'm hoping we can find something fun to watch that's appropriate for us both (21 {me} & 41 {her}), with no fan service(/etc) in it and is relatively short (to account for the unknown schedule at the time of writing this {will update this if possible/applicable}), or is something we can both enjoy even if it's only a few episodes that we get through it and still have fun watching it!
She's only seen Dragon Ball (the original or something I believe) and Sailor Moon (which I've been keen on watching at some point because I've heard from the Yuri community that there's Yuri in it at around s2-s3, so if I could start that somehow and like it enough, I'd be able to probably finish it down the road {or at least to the part I mentioned getting interested in it for}). (Oh, side note: I've seen a bit of Dragon Ball, mostly when I was younger {so my mom says lol} but I've had no interest in it essentially since then [as cool and meme-able as it is online lol])
If it's something I've seen that I can confirm for myself (either via checking the show itself or my own memory) when it comes to making sure it has no FS/fan service, that'd be preferred so I'm not having to double check or spoil anything for myself! (Tho I can make exceptions and try it if seeing something of it beforehand doesn't spoil anything for me {like with JoJo's, but that one's just an example lol}).
Oh yeah, if it is in English Dub that'd be highly recommended and appreciated! If you have any sites that have most shows (particularly from my list of course) in dub, that'd help me out a lot! (The shows that the sites I had watched them all on {i.e. HiAnime and 9AnimeTV} have/had been shut down/offline {to my last known knowledge as of writing this} for awhile (over a few weeks atp), so any others (mentioned or not) you know that have reliable dubs would be greatly appreciated!)
(I would provide things like the TV shows she's seen, but I don't remember anything besides her liking Marvel shows/movies {not as certain about DC tho tbh lol}).
TLDR: Preferably short shows that are on my list with no fan service ((n)or similar) and are dubbed in English with sites that are reliable with their dubbed shows to find most of them on there without switching between any if at all possible. New shows (either on or off my list) are welcome, but must meet the no FS (fan service) criteria/requirement; shows I've seen with little/preferably no FS are a must/highly/greatly encouraged. (I would check my list/look myself but I figured this could be quicker (plus there's a lot of them and I can easily miss some things so having a 2nd(+) opinion would help a lot)).
(Also the minimum I'm looking for is that it won't be awkward to watch it with her (and obvy be fun instead lol), hence the no FS criteria).
