Wierd Discoloration on Door Frame
Can anyone help identify what’s happening to this door frame? I’m trying to figure out if this looks like mold, water damage, rot, or something else entirely. The discoloration and damage seem concentrated around the frame/trim area, and I’m wondering what would typically cause this sort of issue. I’m in the southeast and the door frame pictured is the garage entry door into the home.
Has anyone seen something similar before? What’s the most likely cause and how serious is it?
