I havent been offered salary yet but it was proposed in passing a while back. I am moving into a project management position but am also an experienced inspector with certs and a PG. Likely CEG in the next year. 8 years experience split between inspection, exploration, and some project management.

My biggest worry is that I will be pressured or expected to work plenty of unpaid hours over 40, which I think would create a lot of resentment. I’ve heard of negotiating for straight time (not overtime rate) compensation for overtime hours even on salary. Just looking to inform myself.
