I have a Doctors appointment next week. Cleveland Clinic Functional Medicine. I got referred to them by my GI doctor. The question is what did you do to get your doctor to listen to you ? I believe I have MCAS cant eat anything, heart palpitations from almost every damn food, loose stools, watery eyes after eating. What did you do or say to your doctor to get them to realize this "person" isn't crazy and is onto something. P.S. I've lived in this body for 38 years I think i know what im feeling and what im not. That's the way I feel when a doctor tries to stop my with my symptoms. They dont believe anything you say.

Thanks in advance

5 years ago my gallbladder "quit working " it took the doctor 6 months to figurout what was wrong during those 6 months I developed heart Palpitations after eating. I still have them to this day after eating after eating. I get alot of gas from almost all foods ( just air ) is burping alot garlic and garlic Powder is a huge no no. I am completely lost. If anyone has experienced this and maybe has some advise. My diet consists of meat and potatoes and oranges. Sometimes my symptoms are instant the minute I swallow my food. I actually went into high heart rate 150 bpm irregular beats for 2 days after drinking a smoothie, almost 10 seconds after the first sip I felt what I was feeling in thy throat /stomach. Whatever that feeling it i have no idea its like a lump in my esophagus or something.
