feels like scam, what should i do ?
this summer, I am looking for online work-from-home jobs and found a few contacts in the comment sections of the ShareChat app. All of them were looking for Telugu-speaking guys. They offered roles like Tele-calling, File Verification, and Data Entry with flexible timings and an average pay of ₹15k – ₹20k per month
I reached out and said I was interested in the "File Verification" job. They said I was selected but then asked me to pay ₹500 – ₹600 for "registration" and "one-day training."
I asked them: "Why should I pay you? I’m the one looking for a job. You should test my skills first; if I meet your requirements, hire me, otherwise don't."
The person replied: "No sir, HR told us we have to collect the amount first, then only we can allow you to start."
