I've been dabblingnin Kratky setups for the last two months. I've been teaching myself. Generation 1, which was some store-bought romaine hearts and green onions - all died off weeks ago, but taught me a lot. This is Generation 2. I have:
- 2 mint plants (still not sure about the variety) that I've raised from seeds
- Grocery store celery heart base that I tried to regrow, but it's failing. Ah well.
- A ginger root segment. Planted 17 days ago. Starting to get a root nub
- More grocery store green onions. This batch is working so much better than the first ones. They've been through their first harvest since I planted them.
Grow light runs 7am to 11pm. They get nutrient solution. The LECA pebbles are a fairly new addition. They've been a game changer.
I'd love some feedback on my setup!
