Hi all,

I have been on accutane twice now, once in 2019 and now. First time I was on it lips were very dry which is to be expected.

I am on 40mg, a much higher starting dose than in 2019 as I was young and much skinnier. I’m not experiencing dryness except when I don’t have lip balm on they do feel tight. But my lips are almost like, raw? They burn when I rub them together or if I don’t have lip balm on for seconds when washing face etc.

Has anyone else experienced this? No dryness as such but raw and redness? And well, swollen? I haven’t seen this as a side effect for others before and wondered if I was on my own in this lol
