I think the hardest part about reselling now isn’t even finding inventory anymore

it’s making decisions fast enough

a few years ago you could sit there researching every item in the thrift store and still come back to grab it later

now if something is underpriced for even a few minutes it’s usually gone instantly

i’ve noticed the people making the most consistent money aren’t necessarily the people finding the rarest stuff

they’re the people who can recognize value the fastest

that’s honestly been the biggest shift for me lately. less “treasure hunting” and more pattern recognition

you start realizing there are profitable categories everywhere but most people either: overthink, hesitate, don’t know actual sell-through rates, ignore fees/shipping, buy stuff just because comps look high

half the battle now is knowing what NOT to buy

curious if anyone else feels like reselling has become way more speed based lately compared to a few years ago
