I’ve recently started getting back into running (have been running for years, but had mono a few months back 😬). I’m running a half-marathon in about three weeks, but am a bit worried because the inside of both calves are aching. They kinda feel like shin splints, but I know that’s not what it is. At first, it was just a little achy, but now it’s actually painful just to walk. I’m resting/stretching for the next few days and doing bent-knee calf raises. Any suggestions on recovery or what is likely the cause? I’m assuming I’ve just overworked them.
