Hi all,

My previous LL has sent me to collections, who have now affected my credit due to “unpaid rent” however , when I asked him about this, he said he did it at a time when I was late on rent and I have it documented him saying he would call the collections and deal with this.

Fast forward to now, it is still negatively affecting my credit and he has done nothing to fix it. I have proof of all rent paid and him acknowledging this. How can he just affect my credit with no proof? What do I do to resolve this and protect my credit ?
