Ridesmart COTA TD Advice
Hey guys!
I’m used to doing TDs in AZ and have experience here.
I’m going to be driving solo about 1000 miles one way to do the COTA Trackday with Ridesmart on May 23 and 24. Crazy I know, but kind of a bucket list thing for me. I’m renting a truck and will bring the bike in the bed. Planning on bringing all the usual TD stuff like table, chair, water, snacks, bike key etc. I plan on dropping the bike off Friday evening so I’m not rushing to set things up Saturday morning.
I vaguely recall someone on here saying that pop up canopies aren’t allowed? Is that true? My biggest concern is making sure I have some shade (or maybe shelter from rain) through the two days. After paying for the TD and rentals etc. I just don’t have the money to rent a garage if those are even available so close to the event. I haven’t received an email yet from Ridesmart, so just thought I’d put this out there looking for feedback.
Any other tips and tricks for COTA would be appreciated too.
