Hey everyone,

I recently got an interview for the SAP iXp Intern – Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role and wanted to hear about others’ experiences.

My first round is with the hiring manager, and I’m not exactly sure what to expect.

Is this round more behavioral or technical?

Do they go into coding/testing concepts right away?

What kind of questions did you get (automation, QA concepts, DSA, etc.)?

Anything specific I should prepare for?

Would really appreciate any insights on how the process went for you and what helped you succeed.

Thanks! 🙏

Hey everyone, looking for some advice on a drainage issue in my backyard (NJ area).

I’ve got a corner of the yard where water collects after rain. The thing is, it does drain away after a couple of hours, but during that time it gets pretty soggy. Another point to add is my neighbours land is slightly at a higher elevation than mine. I have some newly planted hydrangeas in that area as well.

A few details:

It’s a slight low spot where water naturally flows

Soil feels compacted / not draining quickly

Located near hydrangeas

Not a constant swamp — just temporary pooling after rain

What I’m trying to figure out:

  1. Is this something core aeration + overseeding could realistically fix?

2.Or does this point more toward a minor grading issue?

3.Would adding topsoil to raise that area slightly be enough?

4.Any simple fixes before I consider something like a French drain?
