So I got a few contracts and figured I need a way to get A LOT of stuff into space at once. After attempting (and failing) to make a heavy SSTO, I gave up and decided to just slap four Saturn Vs onto a 5 meter structure tube carrying a payload and hurl it all into orbit, AND make the boosters all recoverable... then I learned that a Saturn V engine setup could not even lift the three S4-512 tanks per booster and ended up with 8 Mastodons and a Vector per booster for a total of 11,200 kN force per booster or 44,800 kN for the whole laggy mess of a rocket.
Forget the flying bricks of the space shuttles, flying the 1st or 2nd version of the booster through reentry undamaged is the true "flying brick". There are three iterations in the photos, and I need a better name than Big Booster and The Big One .
