I’m trying to pick a monitor for my PS5 and I think I’ve narrowed it down to wanting a 27-inch 1440p monitor with at least 120Hz. I mostly play on a desk, so 27 inches seems like a good size, and I do not really have room for a bigger TV.
My budget is around $200, give or take a little if it is really worth it. I have been looking around and there are a ton of monitors that look almost the same on paper, but then I start seeing stuff about HDMI versions, VRR, HDR being bad, input lag, and whether the PS5 actually works well at 1440p/120Hz on certain models.
I do not need anything super fancy, I just want something that looks good, feels smooth, and does not have annoying compatibility issues with the PS5.
Has anyone bought a 27-inch 1440p 120Hz or higher monitor around this price range for PS5? Which one would you recommend, and are there any I should avoid?
