stuck for months… then realized I was doing IG completely wrong.

not gonna lie, IG had me confused for the longest time .I was doing everything people say… posting reels, using hashtags, trying to be consistent… and still barely growing. like I’d get a few views here and there but nothing steady. felt like I was just posting into space lol what clicked for me (kinda late) is that posting is only half the game. I was just uploading and logging off, expecting the algorithm to do its thing. but if your post doesn’t get any early engagement, it just dies there. so I started switching things up. instead of only focusing on content, I paid more attention to who was actually seeing it. like engaging with people already following similar pages in my niche, replying more, just being active in the right places. at first I did everything manually and yeah that got tiring real quick. after a while I tested some tools just to make it less stressful, one of them was Thunder Social it helped me stay consistent with that side without burning out. I see steady growth instead of random dead posts. curious if anyone else went through the same thing? like realizing it’s not just about content but also distribution/engagement?
