I'm currently into my 5th week of suspension from work. I was suspended due to inappropiate use of the IT equipment (work laptops).
Two weeks into the investigation there was an investigation meeting, and I was told that the investigation had been completed and the meeting served as the final stage of the process, then a report would be written up.
Last week the investigator informed me that he hopes to have the investigation completed this week. I'm a bit confused, as I'd thought he'd previously said the investigation had been completed. As I said, it's now 5 weeks in and I'm unsure as to why there would be a delay. Is it likely that he's regarding the writing up of the report as part of the investigation process, hence why he said he is close to completing the investigation?
