I wanted to get some honest opinions and advice from people who’ve been through this.

I had my first B1/B2 US visa interview on April 3rd in Mumbai. The interview was very short — the officer asked me just three questions:

- Purpose of visit

- My role in my company

- Any international travel history

Within 15–20 seconds, I was rejected.

Now, I need to reapply because I have to give a presentation at my company, and my manager suggested I try again. I’ve booked another appointment, and my interview is scheduled for May 27th in Kolkata.

Here’s my situation:

- I’m unmarried

- I don’t have a strong travel history (haven’t traveled internationally much)

- Same general profile as before

I’m honestly a bit confused and concerned.

- Should I even go ahead with the interview again?

- What could have gone wrong the first time?

- What should I do differently this time to improve my chances?

- Does applying again so soon hurt my case?

what things I can take care of to improve my chances
