This season I played shuffle to 1800 as arms warr for the transmog as a player that's mostly done pve in retail and pvp in classic.
Kind of dawned on me after grinding this out that this is legitimately the buggiest pvp game I've ever played in my life. My spear kept falling through the map, when loading into a lobby I would just randomly disconnect and I got mind controlled by a priest once where I couldn't press any button for the remainder of the game after the mind control wore off.
I saw more bugs in 1.5 weeks grinding this than I have in all of my years playing wow and other competitive games. On top of this a large percentage of my games ended because some people just randomly dc'd and the queue timers went up to 25 minutes. And waiting 25 minutes to randomly fall through the floor is just insanity.
It's crazy that this game just functioned better (in technical aspects) 20 years ago than it does now. It really feels like playing some alpha version of an mmo where the devs can't scrape enough together to finish it.
