Starting Methotrexate soon. How to keep healthy gut.

After experiencing the worst flare ever from Rinvoq withdrawal, I am now diagnosed with both lymphomatoid papulosis and primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma. I will be starting Methotrexate soon along with phototherapy and radiation therapy. Yup, my dermatologist and oncologist is throwing everything at me.

I have finally started to feel better by focusing on my gut health. Cutting out sugar and processed food. Cutting out gluten and unnecessary carbs. Taking probiotics.

Will Methotrexate undo everything I have done for my gut health? Should I continue taking probiotics or even increase the amount to make up for what Methroxthrate will do??

This is my second time getting oral thrush in the past 2 months. My immune system is in shambles though because I been fighting through an extreme eczema flare for the past two months. First time, I took Fluconazole and it got rid of thrush in 7 days but I also got a crazy rash from it so this time I asked for Nystatin mouth rinse. I read a lot on here that Nystatin mouth rinse does not work, but it is working for me.

Note that I cut back on sugar and gluten and carbs. I also take a binder at night, 1-2 hours after my last dose of Nystatin.

Day 1 - 3: no changes

Day 4: Felt a little sick. Assume it's from die offs.

Day 5: Tongue looks less white

Day 6: Today (tongue looks normal, can't tell I have oral thrush)

I plan to finish the entire bottle of Nystatin to hopefully get rid of Candida for good.

I am experiencing crazy weeping and skin flaking all over my body. I found a reddit post saying diaper rash cream will help. I used it last night and it did help a little bit. I wrapped the zinc ointment with gauze cuz it's so thick and white. If I didn't, it would get all over my clothes and bed. However the gauze ended up being rough on the sensitive raw skin and made lots of blisters worse. Does anyone have a recommendation for a moisturizer with zinc that's not as thick and white and that will get absorbed??

I went to an allergist for a consultation after my dermatologist messed me up with a bad drug. I had such a bad flare that the allergist said she can't do skin allergy test since my back is full of lesions. She did run an environmental blood test and said I am only slightly allergic to oak trees. I asked her if diet change can help with eczema and she said no. I specifically asked if I should cut out dairy, gluten or go on a carnivore diet and she said that won't help. She said if I am allergic to gluten and dairy, I would know because I would get an allergic reaction. She concluded the second appt telling me I need to go see a dermatologist and that she can't help me =(.

But I keep reading on reddit that diet change can help. I already eat pretty healthy and avoid processed food. I do eat carbs (rice, pasta, bread) and never noticed they caused flare for me. Usually it's junk food or deep fried food that causes dryness the next day. How do I know if diet change can help? I tried going gluten free for 2 weeks and it didn't make a difference. Do I need to do it for longer?

For those where diet change helped, is it still helping? What did you cut out?
