Hello all,
Looking for some advice, I think we know what we want but just looking for reassurance on the idea.
We currently have two sets of sliding patio doors leading into the backyard - one in the kitchen, and one in the living room right next to the kitchen.
We only ever use the kitchen one to go outside and the one in the living room feels like its just in the way and takes up an entire wall which we could easily put another couch against if we wanted to, but currently the sliding patio door is there and it feels silly to block the door off with a couch even though we dont use it.
We are thinking to remove the patio door in that room, have a wall built halfway up and do the top half with a window. This will allow us to utilize the full space in the room and have couch or something along that wall instead of it being taken up with the door, and the window would still provide a large amount of light and ventilation. Seeing as how we never use that door anyway, it seems like a good idea.
Just looking for thoughts and feedback on this.
Thanks.
