Can people please stop excreting bodily waste on the Red line?

Is this a common experience?

This morning (Sunday, May 10) around 1am I took the Red line in order to get some supplies for a school project I'm currently working on. Normally I try to avoid taking the Red line at night, but I really needed these supplies and I was only going two stops (Fullerton to Clark/Division)

On my way South, just as we were leaving the Fullerton stop, one of the other passengers drops his pants and takes a dump on one of the seats. Not a little dump either, a big fat diarrhea-adjacent dump. Needless to say, this made the car impossible to be in, so I got off at North/Clyborn and switched cars (the other car just had the classic Red line weed/piss smell combo iykyk).

On my way back North, around 1:30 am, I get on at Clark/Division and turn to look for a seat when two guys say "woah there buddy, don't go that way," as I look down and notice the floor is covered in vomit and there is a comatose person with no pants lying face-down on the seats.

Maybe it was my mistake for riding the Red line at 1am, but I feel like we shouldn't have to put up with people shitting on seats and vomit sloshing around on the floor. Is this a common experience?
