Ship the community loves, but you think is ugly Pt.3

I'm a little out of my depth here. Up until a year ago I didn't really know what ppl meant by "primary" and "secondary" hull. Always just referred to the saucer section and deflector section. I knew nacelles, but had no clue what bussard collectors were. Just recently, learned the term Aztecing, though I'm not sure if that's the actual name or just a hobbyist term. I want to know about terminology and the in-universe science of ship design. Sometimes I think about designing a ship, but not really having a full grasp on the "tech" might lead to a ship with no deflector or some other tech I'm not fully aware of.
