Im currently planning a 4'x3' dining table that expands to 5ish feet. I'd like the top to be removable so we can do puzzles and game on a felt surface underneath.
I've had a few ideas on how to attach the top but im trying to hide the fact that its removable and also try to keep the individual pieces from rattling. I've got access to most tools (i think) for metal and wood except cnc stuff and larger industrial type stuff.
Has anyone done this and im just bad at internetting and im missing it? Any suggestions would be great. Rough cut walnut pic included for you animals.
