This happened Saturday morning, had a California king mattress put on my truck. After looking at it and trying to sort it in correct area of my truck. I got to thinking gosh damn this motherfucker is heavy. I can usually move around most of the heavy boxes/ packages pretty easy. But this mattress felt like it was 1000 pounds. I got to looking at the label and it said it weighed 150 pounds exact. I doubted this and requested a scale. The mattress was then weighed by line manager and it settled at a whopping 165.3 lbs. Now obviously I was pretty upset that they thought it was okay. But my next question is say I hurt my back trying to deliver that, could I have sued FedEx my contractor? Because it’s not the first time that I’ve had something over 150lbs put on my truck.
