33, Master plumber/Gas fitter and I make $35.50 an hour. Not only am I the on site license holder, but I’m the foreman, the mechanic, the machine operator, the service call guy, and apparently the only one who knows how to write down a material list, I handle about 10-12 phone calls a day between other employees, GC’s and other tradesmen. Typically after each new project (we do commercial work) has a final inspection I get stuck doing the punch list items, even jobs that I wasn’t apart of. I’m also still breaking concrete and core drilling after all these years, and hand digging. Granted we’re a small 6 man company. And for context I work for family. I get a take home work truck, gas card, health insurance (that I pay half of), 8 paid holidays, and 3 weeks of vacation a year. I see guys post on here saying they make $67 an hour for half of what I do and I don’t believe it at all. So I would appreciate some real insight on what guys are actually making these days for a similar role. Thanks
