I have read somewhere in forum that the resume verification process is stringent in IIMs about the points added in work experience section.

It is said that you have to mail your former manager in the email to get the points approved. I don't have a relationship on talking terms with my manager, will it cause any issues? Why can't they just see the work experience certificate or something?

Also, what the resume lock-in times for various IIMs if anyone can share any info on this aspect?
