I recently found pink residue/coolant splashed around the radiator, cap, hoses, and battery. The car isn't overheating and there are no codes yet. My mechanic suggested the radiator might need replacement ($550) but said to "keep an eye on it" for now. Has anyone else dealt with this? Could it just be a failing radiator cap or a pinhole leak in a hose, or is the radiator seam a known failure point on these? Trying to see if I should get a second opinion before dropping the $550.
