Hi everyone,
I’d like to ask for some advice regarding a recent travel experience.
We booked an apartment in Krakow for a week, but when we arrived it was extremely cold inside (around 5–6°C, with -14°C outside). It seemed the place hadn’t been heated at all.
We stayed for less than an hour, tried to turn on heating, but it didn’t help, so we had to leave and find another place the same day.
The property owner later agreed to refund most of the amount, but part of the payment was still kept, and the stay was counted as multiple nights.
I’m trying to understand — is this normal practice in such situations? Has anyone experienced something similar?
Would appreciate any advice.
