The first time I play this game, it's great, and occasionally turn into frustration very quick. I immediately bought Mastodon, and not long after that I learnt about mods. And they are all insane, making everything easy
But after a while, I got bored of them. I then tried to use vanilla truck. And as expected, it returned to frustrating very quick again. Especially I as new player going in Taymyr. But going back into Mastodon/mods feels like getting into loops, so I tried the infamous Antarctic, wondering how bad it could be
It wasn't as bad as I thought. The articulation suck balls, but nothing I can't handle. So I started using it more frequently. And as time goes, when I tried other trucks, often than not it made me feel "The Antarctic wouldn't get stuck here, Antarctic would pass this part easily," etc. I was surprised, Antarctic is down there in the list but it's the one I most comfortable for hauling loads with
It can't overload, it has so little addons, it's narrow and tall that makes it easy to tip, its articulation is only one axis
But it refused to get stuck. It's torquey, its suspension is also pretty good. And the first point is the majority of problem I have when playing this game. It's shit, but it's my shit
I'm not interested to play hard mode, so that also contributes hugely to ease the hardships I would otherwise have with this truck by simply reset to garage whenever needed
The only buff I need for this truck is a high saddle and crane combo
