IO psych vs OBM

Hey! I don’t know if this is a dumb question, but is IO psych essentially the same thing as OBM within ABA? If I wanted to do OBM, could I theoretically apply for an IO psych job? I looked up IO psych and it seems incredibly similar to OBM within ABA.

Title sums it up. Kinda bummed. I’ve been in the field for 4 years and love the science. However, I don’t want kids and this doesn’t impact my ability to do my job. This was the only reason that the parent provided. Has anyone else experienced this? This family was already difficult to work with for lots of reasons, but I’m still bummed. I’ve spent so much time on this case and thought things were going well.
