iron fist shenlong champion first appeared in a gallery card in season 4 of marvel rivals alongside other champions of immortal beast, Angela, storm, and wolverine. All the skins mentioned were released with accurate designs, epic rarity, and an mvp animation except for the poster boy of it all (Lin lie) the current iron fist and champion of shou Lou. it was the most anticipated skin for not just iron fist mains but people who liked the theme of it as well even having popular YouTuber and leak sources asking where the hell is it at??. 3 months later we finally got some news about it via X0X leak on Twitter saying "the missing son returns home🐲" we all new what that meant and everyone who knew was excited to finally see and buy the skin, but with a 2nd leak to come out to everyone's horror we found out it not only looked Nothing like the art in a bad way, it was a blue rarity and the most disappointing part it didn't even come with a mvp animation. Netease had 3 full months to work on and properly release the poster boy of the entire theme just for it to release purple epic (after frustration complaints from the fans) and have no mvp animation. this skin currently sits at the least worn costume from iron fist, I hope they either rework it or just take it out of the game in general. this was the most disappointing cosmetic treatment in marvel rivals history.
