No one likes to hang around the chronically ill. I’ve been sick with CFS, et al for over 30 years now and it is a heavy burden for sure.

My advice: redesign your world to fit your limitations. Could be a very small world but it’s one you can exist in. If people want to visit, make it on your terms… If you can’t make a special occasion, then Don’t! Your friends and family will get used to you saying no… Reluctantly maybe, but they will get used to it. Then, when you do show up, it’ll be all that more special.

Do not overextend yourself no matter what. Two weeks of PEM & bed rest just ain’t worth it. Protect yourself above all! We’ve been confounded by a mysterious, malicious, evil doer, with no cure or effective treatment. We have to learn to live within our shell, which is not always easy.

God bless you all, keep the faith, your life is worth living even in this diminished state, so keep at it the best you can. Love you all. Stay the course… there will be a cure!! 🥱😎
