Does Internet Archive respond and act to deletion requests for uploads via email?
About 2 years ago I uploaded an AI voice cover to my account when AI stuff was becoming popular (and some voice covers really sounded like an actual human sang it). I was dumb and naive and had no idea ai was a stealing machine and genuinely thought it was creative/original at the time.
My views on it have changed a lot since then and now I honestly just feel uncomfortable and regretful for ever having it posted publicly.
I sent Internet Archive an email today asking for the upload to be removed from my account/archive records, but I’m not sure how responsive they usually are to deletion requests like this and if they delete at all.
Do they normally respond and actually remove uploads if the uploader themselves requests it? If so, how long does it usually take?
If they do not delete it or do not respond, then what to do?
P.S: I can't find a delete button.
