Hello, I am having a weird issue with high-pitched noise coming from two side woofers (see image) when the track has a lot of bass. If I remove the grill and close both 2 inch woofers with my hands, the noise practically disappears.
They crossover at about 250hz. The noise appears not only at <50hz, but sometimes at >100hz, depending on a track. The one I notice the noise a lot at is the intro of "Falling behind" by Laufey. When the track is busy it drowns out the noise though. Also bass punches and kicks cause a lot of noise.
I tightened the screws around the gaskets a bit, but the noise persists. Is the wire passthrough an issue? My guess is the pressure exerted by the larger woofer somehow reaches the smaller woofers despite the gaskets.
Any ideas what the issue might be and how to fix it?
