Mistake in my I-765
Hi everyone,
I realized I made a mistake on my OPT I-765 application 😭 I signed my I-20 but forgot to add the date next to my signature.
It’s already been more than 4 months since I applied, and my case is still pending. My advisor suggested I upload a corrected I-20 under “Unsolicited Evidence.”
Now I’m confused about a couple of things:
- If I upload the old I-20, what date should I write next to my signature — the original date (around when I applied) or today’s date?
- If I request a reprinted/new I-20, what date should I use when signing that one?
- Also, at this point, do you think it’s worth doing premium processing, or should I just wait?
If anyone has been in a similar situation or has advice, I’d really appreciate it. I’m kinda stressed about this.
