Here’s a video where I discuss why I think JCB chose to mention the 3 ads he saw in The Daily Tar Heel newspaper in Chapter 2.

My theory is that it’s unlikely that he remembers the ads since it was over 30 years ago. Therefore, I think he includes them as a clue.

I explain why I think the first ad about the steak knife company could be about CUTCO and that leads me to two possible locations: one in Colorado and one in Utah since both state initials can be found in CUTCO.

Here’s a video where I discuss Chapter 1. Specifically, I explore the idea that maybe JCB is referring to another tech company that also became the most valuable company in the world. The two companies I cover are Google and IBM.

This connection helps lead me to a theory about why JCB said in an interview that he really wanted to include Einstein’s Pipe as part of the treasure.
