can we just take a second to appreciate that mrs. chen is officially the real hero of the venom franchise? she has survived two robberies an alien invasion and even an encounter with the spot from the spider-verse movies and she still doesn’t break a sweat.

the fact that she went all the way to vegas and just casually danced with venom in a full tuxedo shows she’s the only one who actually treats him like a normal person instead of a monster. i love that their friendship is so weirdly wholesome amidst all the chaos. honestly if there’s a spinoff i don’t want more symbiotes i just want a sitcom of mrs. chen running her store while dealing with multiversal travelers. who else thinks she’s the best supporting character in the series?

the thought of eddie brock just living a normal life in new york city without the symbiote is kind of hilarious but also really sad. the dude has zero money no job and is technically a fugitive so i have no idea how he’s even going to pay rent or get a sandwich without venom helping him out. i really hope the next time we see him he’s not just a depressed guy in a bar again because that would be a total waste of his character arc. do you think he’ll find a new symbiote or is he just gonna be "civilian eddie" for a while until some mcu crossover happens?
