hello everyone!
I currently teach in a self contained autism unit (k-5) with students on the general curriculum.
I have been asked to move to a behavior unit next year where i would primarily support children with emotional disturbances. Im excited about the position and i’m looking forward to the work.
Ive been around kids with emotional disturbances, but never in the role of teacher.
thoughts? advice?
