So I just started UGC & I made sample videos to pad my portfolio. I made one for my favorite hiking pack & tagged the brand in the post. They then posted the video on their Instagram page and quoted/gave credit to me in the caption. It was not promoted, just a post on their account. I don’t really care since it is still exposure, but is this allowed? I feel like it’s something I should know before making more sample videos.

Hi everyone! I’m a new UGC creator, focusing in the travel/lifestyle niche as I am traveling constantly. I have been making content for years, but new to UGC & have experience with video editing programs (CapCut, Final Cut Pro). I would love to connect with some brands to create content for you!
