Today I was trying to get a new Card for one of my credit accounts come to find out, they closed not 1 but 2 of my credit accounts, and they didn't even tell me, no mail, no email. They won't tell me why, and that I would receive a letter in the mail explaining why. Doesn't make any sense, I have been with Citi Bank for 5+ years, excellent credit history, no late payments, and keep a balance on the card, Called customer service and they said that they could submit a claim to re open the accounts, but in order to do that that have to do a credit pull for each account. Very disappointed in Citi Bank, has this happened to anyone else?
