Buying first road bike for my son – Is this Marin with "Columbus Steel" worth $300 cad?
Hi everyone, I’m looking for a reliable road bike for my teenage son to use for commuting and riding around the city. I don't know much about bikes personally, but I found this Marin on Marketplace and wanted to see if it’s a good deal for a beginner.
Details I've gathered from the photos:
• Frame: It’s a Marin frame made with Columbus steel tubing.
• Parts: It seems to have a mix of different Shimano parts—Dura-Ace at the front,Ultergra shifters, and Shimano 105 at the back and Vittoria Rubino pro tires.
Thank you everyone:)
